A night in Philadelphia

This past weekend I took a night trip to Philadelphia, it was a trip offered by my school and was free! We mainly went there for the Rothman Ice Rink, but we had enough time to explore the city also. Philadelphia was so pretty, ecspecially at this time of the year. They had a Christmas Village which was adorable. There were many vendors selling a good amount of hand crafted jewelry, they also had many clothing vendors. There was not a lot of food options, but there sure was a wide variety of places to get alcohol in Christmas Village.

I never realized how nice the stores in Philly actually are. We went into a Macy's that was three stories. There was also a gigantic Christmas tree inside. On top of that there was someone in there playing the organ on the second floor. I have never seen anything like that in my life. There were also so many aesthetically pleasing places to eat. I never remembered Philadelphia being so pretty.

The ice skating rink was so cute it was right by love park. It was in the center of everything, so as you were skating you were able to look at the beautiful city. Although I am so bad at ice skating, I still enjoyed being out on the rink with my friends. Rothman Ice Rink is definitely somewhere you need to take a trip to! If you were to go It only costs $15 to skate (including skate rental). It's very affordable with many places to go near by.
