As you read this I am most likely taking my last final of my freshman year in college. It is crazy to say and even more crazy to think about that I finished my first year. I am starting to believe people when they say that college goes fast, it feels just like yesterday that I moved into school for preseason. Now here I am concluding my first year, and I can say that I am really proud of myself.
There of course were a good amount of ups and downs but at the end of the day my freshman year was one to remember. During this year I hit a bump in the road where I wasn't sure if my school was the right fit for me. I then decided that I should transfer. You may already know but if you don't, I am transferring to McDaniel College to continue both of my academic and field hockey career. I couldn't truly be any happier with my decision.
With all of that said, not only am I wrapping up my first year of college, I am wrapping up my experience here at this school. I just want to thank everyone that I have met here at Cedar Crest, for being some of the sweetest people ever. Also thank you for making my first year of college experience one to remember. All of you will always have a special place in my heart. It is sad to say goodbye to this school and the friends I have made here; but I am ready to move forward to my new school.
